My name is Frederiek Wolff and I was born and raised in Ghent (East Flanders), one of the largest and richest cities of northern Europe during the Middle Ages. I studied ICT because of my passion for internet-related technology. At the age of 22 I decided to move to Antwerp as a new challenge in both my professional and personal life. I came back to Ghent in 2012. I lost my heart to this city, I had to come back.
Working in several sectors, I build up a lot of experiences on domains like IT, hospitality, team working, administration, financial, (nightlife) events, social media branding, managing teams and projects involving big responsibilities and needed the necessary organisation skills. This makes me a perfect Polyvalence workforce. I always go 100% and have a healthy perfectionist inside me that keeps me motivated.
This party concept, started by me and B. Bailleul, needed a site to promote the concept. I created the site from scratch in PHP, using flash to animate logo's and images. The content was stored in a MySQL database.
For practising my PHP skills, I took a challenge to make it easier for Mise en Place to recruit new students for student work since this was an actual problem. Modules: dynamic agenda per office, administrator back-office panel, database off all applications.
I'm administrator of a few pages on Facebook (as volunteer). I update page info, post news, create events, add photos, share links and interact with fans.
Working at Skikot was fun! I had multiple responsibilities and one of them was to update and maintain the back-end of their website.
For getting more experience in Google Ads, I offered my help to this organisation for promoting their event through Google Ads. I also helped their entrainee for starting up their Facebook Page as it was totaly know to her.
Europochette uses Joomla! as CMS for their website. I was responsible for keeping the site up to date and adding events to online agenda.
My dad and his brother, they own an American Classic, the Buick Riviera 1974. This car is unique in Belgium, maybe even the BeNeLux, so we decided to dedicate a blog to this car. This site reports about meetings, photo shoots, improvements on the car, old-timer rallies or any other related item to the car.
This site is build on the wordpress platform, using a retro template. It uses in total 6 extra plugins to add extra functionality.
